Did you hear the one about the two Mexicans

Two Mexicans are stuck in the desert after crossing into the United States, wandering aimlessly and starving. They are about to just lie down and wait for death, when all of a sudden Luis says...

"Hey Pepe, do you smell what I smell. Ees bacon, I theenk."

"Si, Luis, eet sure smells like bacon. "

With renewed hope they struggle up the next sand dune, and there, in the distance, is a tree loaded with bacon.

There's raw bacon, there's fried bacon, back bacon, double smoked bacon... every imaginable kind of cured pork.

"Pepe, Pepe, we ees saved. Ees a bacon tree."

"Luis, maybe ees a meerage? We ees in the desert don't forget."

"Pepe, since when deed you ever hear of a meerage that smell like bacon...ees no meerage, ees a bacon tree."

And with that, Luis staggers towards the tree. He gets to within 5 metres, Pepe crawling close behind, when suddenly a machine gun opens up, and Luis drops like a wet sock.

Mortally wounded, he warns Pepe with his dying breath, "Pepe... Go back man, you was right, ees not a bacon tree!"

"Luis, Luis MI amigo... What ees it? "

"Pepe.. Ees not a bacon tree. Ees. . .

Ees. . .

Ees. . .

Ees. . .

Ees a ham bush...."

SO SORRY I know there is something wrong with me for putting this on my blog. I just found it so funny and couldn't help it!

And I bet you tried to do the accent didn't you?? I know you did!

Circumstantial evidence

Jane Vallez Mitchell of HLN's Issues today gave  an example of circumstantial evidence that i thought was very insightful and easy to understand although not exactly the definition of the words in my dictionary.

She said "you wake up in the morning and go outside to get the newspaper. It's been thrown on the grass which is wet and the paper is soaked through. The sky is dark and cloudy and the trees and all the plants are wet, the houses and cars all have water droplets all over them and theres puddles of water in the street. You didn't hear or see the rain but you know obviously it has rained during the night."

My dictionary which is old and grey says circumstantial means "incidental, not essential and not important" What???

It most definitely had been raining and i think even a dimwit can figure that out.

And so can a jury who heard all about Casey Anthonys lies and her mysterious actions on the day her daughter was last seen with her driving away. That along with the many experts who testified as well as the many incidences told of her life tells a tale of which there's no mistaking that she killed the child and covered her tail while the body decomposed.
The jury didn't need to have any cause of death specified as Caylee was a healthy 3 yr. old. It's proof enough that the kid was found dead, duct taped, triple bagged and thrown away like trash and then mama enjoyed her freedom for 31 days. There's just no excuse for coming back with not guilty.

Just like in the example from Jane all it takes is common sense to know what happened. Anthony is guilty as hell, there's just no other answer.

Caylee's law

My attempts to start or at least sign a petition for Caylee’s law in Canada have either led me back to the U.S. (which we’re not able to sign) or to signing up through Petition Canada which lists all petitions in general and this one isn’t specified. To even join one has to allow facebook to access your info and/or email and i’m not comfortable with their rules or plea for money so backed off of signing up. So a dead end but maybe it’s just all too new and in time someone will figure out what i can’t.

It’s a law definitely needed everywhere. Had this law been in effect in Florida Casey would be facing 15 years behind bars for not reporting Caylee missing for 31 days causing unnecessary stress and big expense to the taxpayers. Even then it was grandma who called, not Casey. If it were left up to Casey she never would have reported her child missing and that’s because her daughter wasn’t missing; she was dead. Who would report a dead person if you were the murderer? Casey knew where she had dumped the body and so Caylee wasn’t actually missing at any time at all. Why would she tattle tail on herself; you’d have to spin a pretty good yarn to explain the cause of death and no matter what that’s going to get a sure prison term. Whether Casey knew what the law was or not; at least she was in a position of being able to take her time to get a story all figured out. So, she was as free as a bird with nobody to answer to while her daughter decomposed to the point of no one being able to find the cause of death which is the reason she’ll be walking out of the court a free woman on July 17. She’s not guilty and certainly not innocent but she did succeed in what she set out to do which was to free herself from the duties of a mother.

It’s hard to think there could ever be another case like this because usually there’s more clues right up front; clues that family members should have been concerned about but weren’t. But in just about any case of a dead child this law would help close up the cracks in the present system and put the killer in prison for a while.

In many ways I fault George and Cindy for not knowing something was wrong and for not looking for Caylee or questioning Casey as much as they should have. To not even know their daughter wasn’t employed is just plain stupid or they dam well knew she was hiding something and turned a blind eye to the facts. We had a grandchild live in our home from the age of 18 mths to 4 years old and you better believe we’d never let that kid be out of our sight or at least on the phone every single day. And our daughter was a reliable responsible person working at a real job where we could phone at any time and take him to surprise his mother for lunch. There was no chance of us not knowing where he was or his well being at all times; that’s what grandparents do and moreso since the child lived in our house! Caylees home was their home and they knew Casey was a liar and a thief and not a responsible person and they must have known she had no income and no way to make a proper home for Caylee, even if under the understanding of it being a temporary situation. They knew their grandchild would be sleeping in the car or on some unknown couch or floor, eating on the street, eating unhealthily or being in the company of party boys they didn’t even know. How neglectful is that and why didn’t they take action on the first day? The second or third day? And wait until 31 days had passed without at least hearing Caylee’s voice on the phone. Doting grandparents they were not!

This will happen again, another kid, another day. There’s always copy-cat murderers looking for the path to freedom, fame and fortune and a cute little innocent child can be easily thrown away like trash in the blink of an eye and a flick of the finger of the person they should be able to trust the most.

Some States do have a felony law for a missing child who isn’t reported after 12 hours, another has it for 24 hours. What parent, caregiver, relative, friend or neighbour who suspects wrong doing when a child under the age of 12 isn’t around anymore wouldn’t report the child missing?

Another part of Caylee’s law is to disallow any profit made by the family of such a victim. It appears Casey could become rich from movies, books, pictures (ABC paid over $200,000. already for the many pics we see of Caylee) which Casey sold them back in 2008 when the body was still warm. Most of that went to her lawyers and the $70,000 income tax still hasn’t been paid. Crooked people and their crooked lawyers will always be around making a sordid ending to the story of the life of an innocent child.

We’ll always remember Caylee and her family as well. I have a feeling we’ll hear lot’s more about her mother, probably all bad and so it should as she brought this all upon herself with her selfishness and lies. She’ll continue living the same way as a leech upon her family and friends. Just because a jury said “not guilty” doesn’t mean she’s innocent of terrible crimes inflicted and the horrible death this child.

So much for the sunshine law!
To end on a lighter note you sure can’t believe everything you hear on tv.

I’m sure you’ve heard lot’s of Nancy’s bombshells such as “Casey burst into tears” and "then the water works started" when in reality she didn’t shed a tear.

Reporters like Jean Casarez are generally fairly accurate but concerning Caseys hair she said it hasn’t been cut since she’s been in jail, no scissors allowed, no special haircut ever given. Why then is it shorter on the sides….so short that Casey has to finger it back off her face in that annoying way that she does……constantly………………………..

It has been cut somehow; did she bite it off?

Why do reporters always lie?

NOT GUILTY!!!!!

Unbelievable.......Casey Anthony was found to be NOT guilty this morning

1st degree murder  -  not guilty

Aggrevated child abuse -  not guilty

Aggrevated manslaughter of a child -  not guilty

Guilty of providing false information to a law enforcement officer. Penalty will be given on Thursday.
The max would be 4 yrs and since she's been in confinement for 3 yrs now she will likely walk in a year or less.

Unbelieveable. I could not believe my ears. Somebody killed this little girl and threw her away in the woods like she was just a piece of trash. The last person seen with Caylee was her mother.

Casey can resume her life of lies and party till the cows come home.

This was a total miscarriage of justice and Caylee is still dead.

Casey Anthony; a combined take on a sociopath

The ever happy Casey Anthony

This is a collaboration of my friend Marianne’s story combined with my own take on the Casey Anthony story.

We can socially fault the Anthony family but the one who is on trial is 25 yr. old Casey.

Casey took the easy road and didn’t get a job, using her parents to support her and her daughter Caylee. Casey left Caylee with her friend saying that she was going to work when in reality she was clubbing and hanging out with her peer group.
Casey stole money from her mother and grandparents to the tune of over 7 thousand dollars.
Casey stole money from her friend and wrote bad checks for several hundred dollars worth of Walmart items like sunglasses, beer, party snacks and lingerie in the 31 days her daughter was missing. Nothing was purchased for little Caylee and it's now thought she was probably dead on day 1.
Casey fabricated the Nanny story and told family and friends that Caylee was with the nanny.
Casey told Amy H. that she was going to inherit her parents home (who knows perhaps they were next to go so she could fulfil this dream) and then she told Amy H. that her father was on the way to the hospital due to a heart attack and so on in a string of lies.
Casey lied to her current boyfriend about the whereabouts of Caylee saying she was with the fictitious nanny.
Casey told her peers who asked about her daughter that she was at the beach or Universal or Disney with the fictitious nanny. Everyone thought that was wonderful!
Casey lied to her boyfriend, peers, parents, and police about having a job that she did not have. How is it that nobody clued in to the fact that without a job there’s no money to pay for a nanny and furthermore, calling this fictious woman a nanny rather than simply a babysitter. Nobody clued in to the fact that with Casey there was always the element of upmanship with her saying the nanny was not only beautiful, she was actually a 10! Believe it or not this kind of thinking is what made her and her friends think she was a good mother.  Check out the silent breakfast video of Caylee at youtube to see a different kind of cruelty.
She lied to her family about the nanny kidnapping her daughter Caylee and to the police as well and they believed her at first because in her own words she said “I’m such a good liar” She lied about where she dropped Caylee off at the nanny’s and misled police on a number of wild goose chases which she led them to the very last possible second before admitting these lies. Oh, and lets not forget she told Amy that the reason her car smelled bad was because of dead squirrels and her attorney claimed that it really wasn’t dead squirrels it was just garbage in the trunk. Her mother at first claimed it was leftover pizza before saying actually, there was no smell coming from the trunk of Caseys car.
Casey pretended in court recently to be not of sound mind but was found completely competent by a group of psychiatrists to stand trial.

Casey wrote cryptic posts on her facebook, myspace, and lying texts to multiple people.

She wrote a cryptic note in a journal that included the words “everyone lies, everyone dies” In the 31 day period during the time her child was no where in sight she clubbed, drank, watched movies, shopped, got a tattoo that was eerily cryptic and tended to match the journal entry.
She posted photos of her fun, she had sex with any available young man as long as he was handsome and a fun kinda guy.
She abandoned her car in a lot and later lied saying her father took the car to the shop.
She dodged her family’s attempts to contact her.
She changed her story from the nanny took Caylee to her father raped her and her father helped her cover up a terrible drowning accident.
She has told people at various times different stories about her parents, brother, family, and even other people who did or did not exist.
She has real people she tells stories about and fictitious people she tells stories about.
She even lies about what she had for lunch instead choosing to say it was something else. When the investigation of her own daughter took place she lied to investigators, led them down many deceptive paths again and again, just as she has led the court, jury and us watchers down deceptive path’s blaming everyone but herself for her behavior and the disappearance/death of her daughter.

Casey has never, never, taken personal accountability for anything during that time but chosen to blame real and fictitious people for all that happened. She was found guilty of check fraud and fined but her parents agreed to cover the cost of the payment to her friend Amy. Maybe they did it to rescue her which seems to be a trend, or maybe they felt bad for Amy who had her money stolen too just as they had had their money stolen by Casey. Their motive really doesn’t matter, it’s what Casey did and what Casey is on trial for now.

In the end it is all subject to speculation as to what part her family played in messing her up, covering for her, cheating with lovers or whatever. Or maybe she was just born that way. Her family isn’t on trial for murder. Her family may well be morally bankrupt but that isn’t a punishable crime. They may have enabled Casey over the years to lie, steal, and not take responsibility for her actions and be held accountable but that isn’t a crime. There are things people do every day from road rage to stealing candy off the shelf of convenience stores and it goes unchecked. Society is full of dysfunctional people who are raising their children with no values. Dr. Drew and Nancy Grace have recently both declared they’d cover up crimes for their kids too, sending this message to millions of viewers; protect the kids at all costs! I work with the public and I see a vast amount of immaturity, anger, and all types of inappropriate behaviour so it doesn’t surprise me that the Anthony’s act inappropriately or dysfunctional.

But they are not on trial; Casey is on trial.
Casey was during the disappearance of her daughter and is a legal adult. No one took Casey by the hand and forced her into the decisions to steal money from her parents, so the convenient lie of everything is my parents fault has gone out the window there. In truth what the State’s Attorney and most of us know deep down is that Casey made the ungodly choice to kill her child. Her motivation seemed to be one of selfishness.
Casey is the one on trial and maybe her family did enable her but they aren’t the ones who were last seen driving away with Caylee.
Casey Anthony is a heartless killer who doesn’t feel any emotion toward anyone but herself. If her father cheated with a woman that isn’t subject to law. Of course there are moral and social soft laws, the ones that we all live by that aren’t enforced but we know right from wrong and so the Anthony’s have broken some of those but they are not punishable in a court of law, like murdering one’s own child is. Bottom line in all the speculation about her family is that they aren’t on trial for murder but she is. Cindy Anthony lied on the stand after swearing to tell the truth. She claimed to have been the one who searched chloroform on the family computer. She was proven wrong when it was found that she was at work at the time but Casey was at home making that search 84 times over a period of time, starting 3 months prior to the childs disappearance. Apparently she checked and rechecked the chloroform recipes as well as neck breaking, ruptured spleen and how to make weapons from household goods along with different types of shovels.

Sociopath

Antisocial Personality Disorder is also known as psychopathy or
sociopathy. Individuals with this disorder have little regard for the
feeling and welfare of others. As a clinical diagnosis it is usually
limited to those over age 18. It can be diagnosed in younger people
if the they commit isolated antisocial acts and do not show signs of
another mental disorder.

Antisocial Personality Disorder is chronic, beginning in adolescence
and continuing throughout adulthood. There are ten general
symptoms:

not learning from experience
no sense of responsibility
inability to form meaningful relationships
inability to control impulses
lack of moral sense
chronically antisocial behavior
no change in behavior after punishment
emotional immaturity
lack of guilt
self-centeredness

People with this disorder may exhibit criminal behavior. They may
not work. If they do work, they are frequently absent or may quit
suddenly. They do not consider other people's wishes, welfare or
rights. They can be manipulative and may lie to gain personal
pleasure or profit. They may default on loans, fail to provide child
support, or fail to care for their dependents adequately. High risk
sexual behavior and substance abuse are common. Impulsiveness,
failure to plan ahead, aggressiveness, irritability, irresponsibility,
and a reckless disregard for their own safety and the safety of
others are traits of the antisocial personality.

Socioeconomic status, gender, and genetic factors play a role.
Males are more likely to be antisocial than females. Those from
lower socioeconomic groups are more susceptible. A family history
of the disorder puts one at higher risk.

There are many theories about the cause of Antisocial Personality
Disorder including experiencing neglectful parenting as a child, low
levels of certain neurotransmitters in the brain, and belief that
antisocial behavior is justified because of difficult circumstances.
Psychotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy are common
treatments. The effects of medical treatment are inconclusive.
Unfortunately, most people with Antisocial Personality Disorder
reject treatment. Therefore, recovery rates are low.

This woman is not nuts but dangerous and should be found guilty of the crime of snuffing out the life of an innocent 2 year old child. Her mother should pay for her lies and attempts to cover-up for her evil daughter. The rest of the people involved hopefully will learn of all the clues they had overlooked.

Will Jose Baez continue insulting the jury’s intelligence with his story of how the child drowned and claiming Casey is innocent of all charges.

What are the facts and what is fiction?

This little girl needs for justice to be done for the loss of her life

After 5 sequestered weeks the State of Florida has rested their case. The defence has rested their case and court reconvenes Sunday July3 at 9a.m. (6a.m.pacific time) and the jury will hear closing arguments and deliberations will begin.

Casey Anthonys fate will then lie in the hands of the jury who did not see much of what the tv viewers saw. Live trial can be seen at
