Why is break not rhymed with freak?
Will you tell me why its true
We say sew but likewise few?
And the maker of the verse,
Cannot rhyme his horse with worse?
Beard is not the same as heard
Cord is different from word.
Cow is cow but low is low
Shoe is never rhymed with foe.
Think of hose, dose, and lose
And think of goose and yet with choose.
Think of comb, tomb, and bomb,
Doll, and roll or home and some.
Since pay is rhymed with say
Why not paid with said i pray?
Think of blood, food and good
Mould is not pronounced like could.
Wherefore done, but gone and lone -
Is there any reason known?
To sum up all, it seems to me
Sound and letters don't agree.

I once took my dog to "United Vet" to get her fixed. All the big men in there started to laugh really hard... they said they are not that kind of vet. ??;#^&&$?

Well....Lalala i'm guessing thats something to do with veterns of war but not even sure, i guess its lost in translation to Canadian vet as we're not United....

Never thought of myself as being royal, except maybe as a royal pain in the a** sometimes.
A little coincidence here today my grandaughter
has just announced her engagement. Her fiance is a member of the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police)I guess that makes HER royal, lol!

Yes! Maybe they'll marry, he in his red serge and she in a beautiful white gown doing the musical horse ride then they'll ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after. Ha. I don't even know their plans yet.
Better yet; they could have a real fairy tale wedding and ride off on the 6 legged horses from pandora; or better yet catch a ride on one of the big colourful birds....i think i'm tired and getting silly now.
