Jan 9 Sea day

We began our day with a Lido buffet breakfast and then a visit to the casino. Afterwards we went to a trivia contest with the topic of songs from the movies and because my daughter is a huge movie buff we missed just one answer which meant we didn’t win the coveted prize of a ship on a stick. These prizes used to be really tacky but are now a rather nicer tacky variety, lol. We decided to return later for another go at it with a different topic but as it turned out we were a few mins late and it was already in progress when we returned. It appears these games have become very popular and some people don’t leave their seats in between the games but we managed to snag a table nearby to at least play in it although without a scorecard. The topic was myths and legends, basically true or false responses and it seemed quite hard but some of that was due to the game masters delivery of the questions. We then went up to the top of the ship and admired all the cool hammocks and loungers full of sun worshippers. The wind did its thing of straightening my curled hair which made me want to return immediately to the cabin so I could recurl it. Later we had dinner in one of the dining rooms and my choices were delicious, especially the salmon dish with an awesome sauce. After hitting the casino once again we retired for the night.
